All donations from Canada are tax-deductible and are split between the Emergency Response Fund and the Capacity Development Fund, unless otherwise designated.  Funds are used to address critical needs in Sudan, particularly those which arise suddenly because of conflict or natural disaster.  These funds enable FAR to provide rapid assistance in time of need and to strengthen the community's capacity to prepare for future distaster and mitigate against future conflict.  See What We Do for detailed information on FAR's projects.
